Everything you need to validate the sensor
The trial is designed to be turnkey. We ship a complete kit, your team installs it with our remote help, and you have 30 days of real operating data before any purchase decision.
MP-Series Sensor
Your choice of MP5, MP-TOTAL, or MP-HOT — whichever fits the application you want to test.
D20 Controller
Full controller with display, 4-20mA outputs, and your choice of Modbus, BACnet, or cellular communication.
Mounting Hardware
PVC tee, wet-tap fitting, or immersion mount — whichever matches your install location.
Install & Calibration Support
A Halogen engineer walks you through installation, calibration against your DPD reference, and configuration.
30 Days of Support

No Obligation
Send it back at any point during the trial period. If you decide to keep it, we credit the trial against your purchase.
Who qualifies for a free trial?
Because each trial kit ties up real equipment and engineering time, we prioritize applications where our team can deliver the most value. If you fit the criteria below, you are likely a strong fit.
- check_circleActive U.S. or Canadian water utility, integrator, or facility operator
- check_circleExisting chlorine, monochloramine, or pH monitoring program in place
- check_circleDecision-maker or technical buyer with authority to evaluate equipment
- check_circleNetwork/SCADA access at the install location (if applicable)

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the trial really free?
Yes. We cover shipping both ways, the equipment, and engineering support. The only thing we ask is that you provide a brief written summary of results at the end of the 30 days, whether you decide to purchase or not.
How long does it take to schedule?
Typically two to three weeks from form submission to gear arriving at your facility. We use that time to confirm fit, prepare the kit for your specific install, and schedule the install support call.
What if it doesn't work in our application?
That's exactly what the trial is for. If the sensor doesn't meet your accuracy or stability requirements, we want to know. Return the kit, no questions asked, and we may follow up later as our product line evolves.
Can I run multiple sensors in parallel?
For qualified large-scale evaluations, yes. Tell us in the form that you want a multi-unit pilot, and we will configure the trial accordingly. Typical pilots run 2–5 units across different installation points.
